Mike has over two decades of experience in the drinking water sector. A chartered scientist with a doctorate in biological sciences, Mike is a keen problem solver who has worked on projects involving water quality, process science, engineering, regulatory and asset management.
As a senior principal consultant, Mike delivers drinking water safety plan (DWSP) risk assessments and process designs for major strategic water resource options. He also leads the UK PFAS working group, drawing on international learning to address emerging risks associated with forever chemicals. He’s developed methodologies and processes for DWSP assessments and is creating a DWSP Centre for Excellence in the Stantec South team.
Outside work, Mike is an avid runner, surfer, and paddle boarder.
