Dan’s diverse background in mining operations, engineering, construction, project management, and supply chain has allowed him to contribute to a large variety of projects throughout his career. With nearly 40 years of industry experience, Dan’s well-versed in the areas of mine operations, construction, procurement, estimating, technical writing, and new technologies. Dan is also a certified Mine Health and Safety Administration (MSHA) instructor for surface, underground, and mine rescue.
Dan has participated in many Stantec projects involving the preparation of trade-off studies, SOP’s, technical writing, procurement, and NI 43-101 technical reports.
Even outside of work, Dan enjoys prospecting and mining history—he created his own website for a personal prospecting project involving 20 greenfield mining claims. Dan is also an active outdoorsman and can often be found hiking or biking.
