As sector and discipline leader for the Red Deer Water team, Stephan thrives on the competitive nature of consulting and works closely with clients to understand their needs.
Recently, Stephan was design lead for the preliminary design of a 108-kilometre water supply line in Saskatchewan. The job brought together people from around Canada who shared ideas and input during the project.
Stephan believes a person’s ability to work on interesting projects is determined by their willingness to help wherever needed and to put in extra effort. With that in mind, Stephan gladly takes responsibility for project management, coordination, and completion of various water, wastewater, and stormwater projects including regional water and wastewater pipelines, transmission systems, and treatment facilities.
Stephan also provides infrastructure planning and capital asset management analysis for municipal clients.
Outside of work, Stephan volunteers with Tree House Youth Theatre and the Red Deer Community Band Society. He likes jazz and swing music, spending time with his family, and the year-round, outdoor recreational amenities offered throughout Red Deer.
