Tim has almost two decades of experience across commercial, civic, aquatic, industrial, education, and healthcare projects. He leads integrated teams, serves as a primary client contact, and mentors emerging engineers.
As a trusted advisor, Tim’s electrical design strengths include power systems, lighting, communications, audiovisual, and security—with specialist strengths in architectural lighting, building controls, and solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. One of his current project highlights is his work with the purpose‑built two‑storey Southern Eye Specialists development, where he’s serving as project lead and lead electrical engineer. In this role, he’s coordinating mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, fire engineering and protection, civil, and an acoustic sub‑consultant through base‑build and tenancy fit‑out design.
When he isn’t leading project teams, weekends for Tim revolve around family sport, DIY and the garden, as well as motorcycling, mountain biking, and snowboarding. A favourite weekend escape is getting away to Akaroa on Banks Peninsula.
