With over 40 years in healthcare consultation, Greg is a senior architectural technologist and principal in our Regina office. He’s passionate about designing facilities that improve the lives of the people who use them—the goal is to help people to connect with their surroundings.
Among the many projects Greg’s helped complete is the Five Hills Health Region Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. It was the first hospital in Canada built using the integrated project delivery model—this required a very collaborative approach to rethink the way in which the hospital could provide healthcare. More importantly, it was an opportunity to design a facility that would truly improve the way in which the hospital could provide healthcare and make a difference in the lives of the people visiting.
Greg’s expertise doesn’t stop at hospitals. He’s worked on long-term care facilities in Maple Creek, Redvers, Radville, and Swift Current. For those looking to pursue a similar career, Greg suggests, “Always pay attention. Architecture is a challenging business and you need to be aware of what is happening around you.” Each facility is unique and comes with its own challenges: something Greg loves about his job.
