Billy is constantly seeking a deeper understanding of the processes and complexities of transportation design and community development. He brings strong experience in urban roadway design, with expertise ranging from conceptual design all the way to project completion.
Notably, he’s worked on long-term and expansive light rail transit projects (such as the Metro Line LRT Preliminary Engineering project in Edmonton, Alberta and the Green Line North Functional Planning Study in Calgary, Alberta) that require extensive community engagement—and he enjoys collaborating with stakeholders to incorporate their feedback into his designs. He’s particularly practiced at transforming technical drawings into 2D and 3D models to help the public best understand the intended design. Billy is a dedicated member of the team who strives to uplift and mentor his peers so that together they can push boundaries to find new and better solutions to problems.
Drawing on his passion for visualization and design, Billy’s favorite pastime outside of work is portraiture photography.
