Jun has a thorough electrical power system background and extensive experience in consulting, detailed engineering design, and field-testing and commissioning services. A team lead, he works with our team in the Walnut Creek office, and is primarily responsible for substation protection and control design.
Jun has been involved with utility projects including generation, and transmission and distribution in the U.S., Canada and China. His specialty is in protection and controls, an area where he has experience in system studies, relay settings, and detail relay scheme design including schematics, relay panel layout, and wiring. Earlier in his career, Jun was an associated professor in China and conducted instruction and research work in the protection and controls area.
In his spare time, Jun can be found at the school field watching his children play soccer or tennis, exploring Reading Public Museum, or relaxing in parks. He loves getting active, and plays tennis, jogs and skis whenever he gets the chance.
