As a multi-instrumentalist musician, Mitchell sees his projects like an orchestra—everyone needs to know how to play their own instruments and understand the broader context of music. He applies this philosophy to assembling project teams capable of delivering strategies and solutions that resonate with our clients. He has more than 16 years of consulting experience focusing on the oil and gas sector, supported with a background in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, and project management. He looks forward to engaging with the industry in new ways, including energy remix projects and alternate products that best fulfil evolving client needs.
Mitchell is committed to mentoring and leading his team toward operational excellence. His goal is to put the right talents in the right place to support—and anticipate—clients’ needs and become their “trusted advisor.” Another of his objectives is to expand the Energy group’s portfolio outside of midstream operations through multidisciplinary collaborations to help the industry diversify and achieve greater sustainability.
Outside of work, Mitchell plays the guitar, piano, saxophone, and clarinet. He also enjoys reading and spending time with his kids.
