Fulfilling a desire to help protect natural resources and help communities thrive, Serena was drawn to pursue an engineering career. Today, she works on a wide range of water projects that include stormwater systems, pipelines, pump stations, water reuse, and water and wastewater treatment. She has experience in planning, design, construction support, startup, and commissioning, helping projects move from early studies through implementation.
Serena enjoys working on water projects that make a visible difference, whether for improving water reliability, managing stormwater, or supporting more sustainable infrastructure. In addition to her project work, she’s a co-founder and co-chair of the region’s Asians at Stantec Employee Resource Group and helps support the office intern program.
Taking her passion for water to her time away from work, Serena competes in dragon boat and outrigger canoe racing and coaches our dragon boat team in Long Beach.
