For the occupants of the 420 units of 12–14 Birnie Avenue, Homebush, design and engineering provide an appealing lifestyle in structures that complement the existing natural and built character of the area, with access to a wide variety of public and private amenities.

We provided a full range of engineering services for the two-tower project—from preliminary design and concept advice, through to detailed design and construction documentation, as well as construction stage services. Working with the architect, SJB Architects, and client, Shanghai Lihua, Australia, we engineered the structures with the provision to add up to five more levels to the complex in the future.

Both the towers have a five-level podium accommodating retail, commercial and professional services for residents and the surrounding community. Recognizing the complex will affect traffic in neighborhood, a new access road forms part of the project.
