Bass Coast Junior Secondary School
Partnered with the Victorian School Building Authority, JLL, Kennedy Nolan, and SJ Higgins, we helped design and deliver a junior secondary education campus for Bass Coast residents in San Remo. With a focus on educating future engineers, architects, and designers, this project was particularly special to us.
Located in a region experiencing significant urban growth, this new education campus required significant authority engagement to negotiate the extents of infrastructure to support the school. It also required an innovative approach to stormwater management to maintain both outflow volumes and peak flow rates from the development to the adjacent properties.
We provided multidisciplinary consulting services for the planning, design, and delivery of the roadworks, stormwater management, and authority utility services works required for the school. Additionally, our Urban Infrastructure team provided civil engineering services for the project and managed inputs from our water, traffic, survey, and geosciences professionals. We worked closely with the Victorian School Building Authority, JLL, Kennedy Nolan and their consultant team, and the Bass Coast Shire Council to optimize the infrastructure required for the development of the school and to achieve practical and economic outcomes.
