Electrical engineering to implement solar photovoltaic power

Broadway Fair Shopping Centre

Established in 1972, Broadway Fair is one of Perth’s most prestigious shopping centres, featuring over 50 one-of-a-kind retailers and small businesses. When Broadway Fair wanted to offset their energy usage with environmentally-friendly solutions, they brought us in to complete the electrical engineering.

Working with solar energy provider, Infinite Energy, our teams worked on the electrical engineering design, supply authority applications, and the negotiations for connection approval. The project included 948 panels which generate almost 500,000 kilowatt hours per year, providing around 30% of the centre’s energy needs.

Now complete, this installation is the largest rooftop solar photovoltaic system in Western Australia, and it’s expected to save the centre around $240,000 per year in power bills.
