Maintaining and developing the estate assets of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) is no small job. It demands a high level of technical knowledge and a good understanding of the ADF’s operations, processes, standards and capability requirements, as well as intimate knowledge of specific facility infrastructure. There are layers of invested groups to engage and internal regulations and policies to comply with. Stantec supports all three new proponents appointed to the ADF’s Estate Works Program Panel, delivering numerous tranches of work annually within strict budgets and timescales.
Working predominantly on brownfield projects, our state-based multidisciplinary Defence team has completed works across Australia for the past 12 years within this environment, ranging from building refurbishments and in-ground infrastructure updates to shooting range upgrades and large-scale roadworks. Over the years, our consistent and collaborative approach has helped balance the sometimes-conflicting key parties and regulatory needs to produce practical and robust results within a value-for-money context.
Our positive relationship with numerous project participants is key to completing Defence projects on time and on budget for the ADF. This work directly contributes to the ongoing provision of Defence services, ultimately protecting our communities.
