Queens Wharf

Queen’s Wharf is the latest addition to Brisbane’s central business district, positioning the city as a premier destination for tourism, leisure, and entertainment. The precinct includes over 1,000 hotel rooms, 2,000 apartments, gaming and entertainment facilities, a range of restaurants and bars, as well as extensive river front public open space areas and heritage building redevelopment—all connected by a new pedestrian bridge to South Bank.

Our involvement with Queen’s Wharf began from the very start, providing crucial technical advice to the Queensland Government for over eight years on civil, traffic, structural, and building services engineering. Our role expanded to electrical fitouts, where we designed power and lighting systems for the main and upper gaming floors, delivering fully coordinated LOD 500 (as-built) building information modeling documentation. For the high rollers' gaming areas, we redesigned the central uninterruptible power supply systems, improving efficiency and delivering power resilience to these critical locations. We also delivered electrical designs for three high-end restaurants on Sky Deck and provided key enabling works for The Star Brisbane ahead of its opening.

Now open, Queen’s Wharf will enrich Brisbane’s cultural landscape and offer opportunities for locals and visitors alike.
