Redcliffe Hospital Expansion Project

The Redcliffe Hospital expansion, one of the largest projects in Queensland Health's Capacity Expansion Program, aims to address the growing demand for healthcare. This major redevelopment includes constructing a nine-story clinical services building and the delivery of 204 new beds. The project will also expand existing services such as theaters, emergency, birthing, endoscopy, outpatient consult rooms, diagnostic rooms, medical imaging, and pharmacy.

In collaboration with Multiplex, we are delivering design services encompassing electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, fire protection, information and communications technology, security, structural, civil, and transport. A notable innovation was the adoption of advanced subsurface utility modeling on the currently operational hospital campus, which significantly informed the inground design process, leading to a more efficient coordination process during design and a reduction in project costs and risk.

These upgrades will significantly enhance Redcliffe Hospital's capacity to serve the community effectively.
