Creating a fully integrated modular hotel room template for global prefabricated roll out.
The Tribe hotel brand was seeking a new way to deliver a consistent hotel product across geographies. Through the use of modular construction, our Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics and Fire Protection teams provided services for 126 premium standard rooms at their first hotel in Perth, creating a successful template for future development.
The striking 9-storey building features lounge, bar and restaurant facilities at ground floor, with first floor covered parking. Above the podium, the repeating pattern of guest rooms was designed to be prefabricated and fully fitted out in China, including all the associated building services and risers. Sixty-three modules were transported to the West Perth site for construction, allowing for an accelerated construction program and enhanced quality outcome.
The brand has subsequently been purchased by French hotel group Accor who are intending to roll out this model of hotel around the world.
