Voco Auckland City Centre

The Voco Auckland City Centre Hotel will be constructed on the former New Zealand Herald site. The 37-storey tower will transform Auckland's skyline and includes both the Voco and Holiday Inn Express on the lower floors. The project will provide 200 rooms on the upper floors while on top of 290 Holiday Inn Express on the lower floors.

For this project, we’re providing all major engineering design services, including structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, vertical transportation and fire protection from our Sydney office. The construction site is highly constrained, fronting the main thoroughfare of Albert Street in Auckland's CBD. The building is being designed to resist seismic forces in accordance with New Zealand's strict design standards.

Now complete, visitors can enjoy luxury accommodations that feature fresh, natural, and modern designs. The hotel brings the outdoors inside and offers playful and energizing workspaces, dining and social areas, natural outdoor spaces. The best part? It features design and technology elements to enable guests to maintain the same life balance they would have in the comfort of their own home.
