Improving the relationship between Australia and the European Union
The EU-Australia Leadership Forum (EUALF) was developed to strengthen the ties between Australia and the European Union, demonstrating a shared commitment to a bright, mutually-beneficial future. We were awarded the contract to support the implementation.
The main goal of the project is to improve the awareness of the relationship between Australia and the European Union across all sectors of government, business, civil society, and media, and to generate interest amongst key decision makers and emerging leaders.
To do so, we led a consortium to implement the platform, which highlights the concept, benefits, and consequences of widening and deepening the EU-Australian relationship for various sectors, including energy and environment. This project also has an impact on the possible Free Trade Agreement, which is currently under negotiation.
The project includes an extensive media and promotional campaign that focuses on communicating the benefits and opportunities of the EU-AUS relationship, as well as establishing the place and role of the EU in the region and worldwide. How? Through ongoing press releases, articles, opinion pieces, and interviews which run beside the organization and management of high level stakeholders’ events, policy workshops, and publications.
