EU-US Emerging Leaders Visitors Programme

The European Union (EU) and the United States (US) enjoy one of the largest and most important bilateral relationships in the world. For more than 60 years, their partnership has thrived and evolved into a crucial force for building a more secure and prosperous world. As both transform into more inclusive and diverse societies, continued collaboration rests on preserving the shared values and goals that bind them.

In 2022, the European Commission and the European External Action Service launched the EU-US Emerging Leaders Visitors Programme to foster connections among younger generations of European and US leaders and professionals. As program manager, we organize study visits to Belgium and other EU countries to give young US-based professionals and leaders the opportunity to get to know the EU better, meet EU officials, and connect with fellow leaders in Europe. We also design communication materials that help raise awareness of the EU in the United States.

Through tailor-made events and activities, we are helping the project achieve its goals of increasing and sustaining mutual understanding and cooperation between the young leaders who will shape the future of EU-US relations.
