In Morocco and Tunisia, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and mid-cap companies form the backbone of economic growth and employment, yet they continue to face structural barriers to accessing finance, adopting sustainable technologies, and integrating into regional and EU-level value chains. Differences in financial sector maturity, regulatory environments, and macroeconomic conditions further shape how these challenges unfold across the two markets.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) selected us to bridge the gap between financial institutions and enterprises, making sure EIB-backed credit lines and guarantees translate into tangible investment, competitiveness, and inclusion outcomes. We work closely with Moroccan and Tunisian financial institutions to embed EIB eligibility, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) requirements, and reporting processes into their daily operations, while strengthening their ability to design inclusive and green financial products.
In parallel, we support MSMEs and mid-caps in identifying investment opportunities, improving business planning, and preparing bankable proposals aligned with EU standards and market requirements. By connecting these two sides of the financing chain and activating a wider ecosystem of key parties, we deliver a fully integrated program that strengthens institutional capacity, stimulates demand for sustainable investment, and accelerates the uptake of EIB instruments.
Building lasting capabilities within financial institutions and enterprises will help make sure that inclusive and green finance becomes a sustained driver of economic resilience and growth.
