APEGS Office Renovation

The Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) wanted to renovate their office to reflect their identity and support their business needs. Our job? Design a dynamic workspace to cultivate a professional image for APEGS and its members, while enhancing the security of the building.  

We needed a design approach that could accommodate APEGS security conditions. 24/7 access to the office required monitoring, and restricted areas meant placing card access points strategically throughout the building. We developed a control system and tailored our design to manage office traffic. Public meeting rooms, private offices, and a shared kitchen were all created with programmable card access.

The office encompasses 3,774 square metres of revolutionized work space. The concept for the design was modern midcentury: a classy, timeless space with high ceilings and a soothing wood finish. We also made sure to include sustainable features. Access to direct natural light was important for employees, and energy-efficient systems will allow APEGS to make the most of their new home.
