Creating ultra-fast DC charging stations in a nation-wide network that will make electric vehicles more convenient

A confidential electric automobile manufacturer client began building a network of 480-volt, ultra-fast DC charging stations that would allow for quick vehicle charging. With a network of high-powered stations located across the US, Europe, and Asia, they were ready to further expand into Canada.

Our client retained our integrated team of engineers to provide design, engineering, and utility coordination services for this fast-paced project, which includes numerous site installations across Canada. The design is a proprietary direct current (DC) technology that provides up to 120-kilowatts of power per car.

Our scope for each site includes complete electrical, structural, civil, and landscape engineering as well as coordination with the electrical utilities. Early design packages include photo simulations of final charging station infrastructure that can be showed to property managers for buy-in.
