Carmeuse Lime and Stone

Committed to pursuing considerate, responsible relationships between people and our natural environment, Carmeuse Lime and Stone is a leading producer in the lime and limestone industry. With a relationship that spans two decades, we are their go-to air quality and noise consultants for three facilities in Ontario.

In our time working with Carmeuse we’ve provided a variety of services—permitting and compliance, monitoring and measurement, and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Verification—to name a few. We have helped with environmental compliance approvals for air and noise, including air emissions and acoustic modelling reports, and were the first in Ontario to apply for the approval of an alternative low-carbon fuel demonstration project. We’ve also provided long-term continuous and short-term non-continuous ambient air quality monitoring, stack testing, and sound level measurements. To top it off, we also completed a technology benchmarking report and public consultation to enable Carmeuse to obtain site-specific air quality standards.
