Centre national intégré du manufacturier intelligent

Following the inauguration of its campus in Drummondville in 2016, the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) has moved into the second phase of its expansion. They’ve added a second pavilion, further enhancing the region’s post-secondary educational offering.

A unique concept in Quebec, the Centre national intégré du manufacturier intelligent’s (CNIMI) mission is to bring researchers from industrial and higher education sectors together under one roof to support the digital transition of the manufacturing industry in Quebec. Having participated in the design of the first pavilion on campus, we were brought in to design the electromechanical systems for the CNIMI.

The new building can accommodate 400 people and is located on an exceptional site in the heart of a wooded area near downtown Drummondville. The establishment has connected classrooms, collaborative spaces, a smart, factory-style laboratory, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing workshop.
