Fraser River Crossing Replacement - 5L44 Rebuild Project

Operating on a fast-tracked design schedule, we worked with BC Hydro to replace two existing towers crossing the Fraser River between Surrey and Coquitlam. Providing engineering and detailed design, procurement, and construction management, we were able to meet tight deadlines, environmental challenges, and navigate difficult terrain to get the work done. A CN rail line, the South Fraser Perimeter Road, and the Fraser River navigation were all elements of the project that needed coordination and management in order to successfully finish the project, without negative impacts to any system.
