Gas Plant Expansion

Stantec provided engineering services to expand the existing compressor station to create capacity for new and future drilling activity in the area. Stantec performed all engineering services including process and piping design, mechanical and electrical engineering and instrumentation and programming.

The expanded facility is designed to process 600E3m3/d (21.2MMSCFD) of sweet gas. The inlet separator and dehydrator were replaced with larger units for increased production. A new two-stage 1,775HP reciprocating compressor was installed to run in parallel with the existing compressor. Piping modifications facilitated the installation of new process equipment. A control panel will be installed in the MCC building with an HMI installed in the new office building.
