Making an old bridge new again

Sometimes, to make an old bridge safe an secure, you have to design a new one. The Notekeu Creek Bridge had been serving its community since 1949, and was due for major upgrades. Our team analyzed the project and found that a new replacement bridge would be the safest and most effective option.

Features like precast concrete beams, caps, and a steel bridge design added to the new bridge’s stability and security, while an adjustment to its location (to center the water flow) protects it and its travelers from a flood. The concrete beams and caps allow for a shortened construction time, and the adjustment helps eliminate ongoing repairs. It’s safety, security, and savings (costs and time) all in one bridge design.
