Step into Vancouver’s most stylish piazza—McArthurGlen. It’s the city’s first designer outlet mall, located just outside the Vancouver International Airport.

This outdoor retail environment boasts tree-lined, car-free walkways in a luxurious open-air community. Patrons enjoy over 60 designer brands up to 70 percent off, delicious dining, a children’s adventure playground, free Wi-Fi, and even special events. Since winning the prestigious Best Outlet Centre at the 2015 MAPIC Awards only four months after opening, McArthurGlen has become one of Vancouver’s favorite destinations for visitors and locals alike. In addition to being both the base building architect and design-build architect, we are also providing mechanical and electrical engineering for the design, as well as structural and landscape services for the design-build. We are working closely with McArthurGlen, the Vancouver International Airport, and Strabag (the design-build contractor) to provide efficient project delivery, and acting as the retail tenant coordinator to facilitate the process of getting shops open for business.

With the franchise’s most successful opening—160,000 people in four days—and serving one million visitors after only three months, McArthurGlen has made a lasting impression for Vancouver’s fashion reputation.
