Strategic support including production of plans, involvement in negotiation meetings and presentations
With over 70 stores across Quebec, Mondou is a Canadian leader in the distribution of pet supplies and services. The company is expanding and opening new stores as well as revitalizing existing ones.
Stantec's Urban Design team helped Mondou with its store redevelopment projects in Quebec. Some involved a complete rebuild while others were expansions or new construction. Strategic support included production of plans, sketches and regulatory analyses, as well as involvement in negotiation meetings and presentations to municipal officials.
Six stores have been completed so far: a store expansion in Repentigny, complete rebuilds of the stores in Pointe-aux-Trembles and Beloeil, and construction of stores in Shawinigan, Saint-Charles-Borromée and Alma.
