Parc des Loisirs de Château-Richer redevelopment
The Parc des Loisirs de Château-Richer is an important recreational park for area residents. However, the existing facilities required upgrading and enhancement to revitalize the space, better meet safety standards and address the needs of today’s residents.
Our multidisciplinary team supported the Municipality in carrying out the project by providing landscape architecture and mechanical and electrical engineering services. Our experts produced the development concept as well as plans and specifications and provided construction site supervision.
The park is now an intergenerational space well suited to the needs of the surrounding population. The redevelopment centred on a new park chalet with the addition of play areas, splash pad, skate park, sports grounds, skating rink, pool and two parking areas. Revamping the layout made it possible to optimize the use of space to allow for maximum year-round use and an enhanced array of recreational activities.
