Snowberry Neighborhood Development

Home to an estimated 1.5 million people, Edmonton is predicted to reach over 2 million within the next 30 years. Currently under development by NAC Land, the Snowberry community will help provide homes for the growing population. NAC Land reached out to our team to help, based on our successful collaborations spanning over two decades.

The Snowberry project is currently in the planning phase. Working with a variety of invested parties, we are conducting planning, engagement, and visioning sessions along with technical studies to develop a comprehensive plan to bring forward to Edmonton city administration for review and to City Council for approval. This area is also part of a large environmental feature which the City calls the Emerald Crescent—it’s made up of a mix of natural areas and wetlands that will be preserved as part of the neighborhood plan.

With potential to become home to over 21,000 people, Snowberry will offer a mix of different housing, commercial, schools, and employment opportunities. Once the neighborhood plan has been completed—likely in 2026—we will continue working with our partners until development is ready to break ground, providing engineering, geospatial, and field services.

I don’t just plan a street or a neighbourhood based on its functionality. I envision the people who live and work in the area and I design the community for them.
