Guiding our international brand clients towards a more sustainable operation
As a leading global apparel brand, our client is committed to producing their products in a way that doesn’t burden the environment and under conditions where people’s health, safety, and human rights are respected and upheld. Our job? To provide corporate social responsibility (CSR) services to assist the client in achieving its commitment. This project’s focus was on the production partners location in China and Southeast Asia.
The CSR services provided by Stantec include—but are not limited to—supply chain audits, the development of an environmental and social management system for suppliers, and related CSR capacity-building training. The services are provided based on the client’s code of conduct as well as the national and local environmental, health, safety, and labor regulations in those regions and countries.
Our supply chain audit program guides our client in risk identification and solutions for its production partners, whilst our CSR capacity building program delivers detailed and tailored training courses to the production partners. Altogether, this strengthens CSR management and optimizes CSR performance, to the benefit of our client, their suppliers, and the workers.
