Preparing for a significant increase in staff numbers in the coming months and years

As part of their expansion strategy in Central and Eastern Europe, our client was looking for a new building to accommodate their new staff in Prague. After a careful selection process involving several newly built office buildings, they decided to fit out an office building named Rustonka. UK-based architect HLW, in co-operation with Ian Bryan Architects (IBA), was appointed to design the fit out of the complete building to suit the demand. Our team was chosen to coordinate and supervise the team of local mechanical, electrical and plumbing designers to make significant amendments and changes to the building service systems.

The building will house several different teams dealing with a variety of tasks, with some of the teams working 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. In addition to having strict security and IT requirements, the client wanted their office environment to reflect the latest trends in user comfort, high quality internal environment and flexibility of the office space. To fulfill these demands, extensive consultations were necessary to ensure that all the major alterations to the building systems are designed in line with the client´s expectations while keeping the costs and time within the set limits.

Our Prague team used their experience and knowledge of first-class building services systems to create a concept that will suit the needs of this client.
