For their new headquarters in Milan, Dow wanted a modern, functional space to help stimulate and encourage creativity and team collaboration. They commissioned us to provide engineering, architectural, and systems concept and detailed design as well as construction supervision.
Working closely with Dow to understand their technical and cultural needs, our designers created modern, multifunctional, flexible workspaces suitable for a variety of activities, from training to research. From the earliest stages, we targeted our designs to support LEED Platinum certification of the entire building. Our team also integrated the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure with the spatial layout to increase environmental comfort and comply with sustainability standards.
This new space will offer 45 desks that can accommodate up to 70 employees and areas dedicated for meetings, employee respite, and collaboration. It’s a diversified workplace that will support Dow Italia in their mission to encourage collaboration and innovation among team members and support training and research activities.
