Global Framework Agreement - Enel Green Power
Since February 2012, we’ve worked in a framework agreement partnership with Enel Green Power (EGP)—a major Italian power utility—to evaluate and develop renewable energy worldwide. Currently, EGP has an installed capacity of more than 40 gigawatts which is produced by more than 1,200 plants operating worldwide.
EGP’s aim? To grow internationally by increasing their installed capacity and enhancing each country’s technology mix. Our team’s work has included a diverse set of services, from feasibility studies to technical assessments, project engineering, and basic design.
In 17 countries (spread across 4 continents), this framework agreement has allowed EGP and our team to address new business startup problems in a systematic, structured way. In these countries, EGP works in partnership with local developers on projects and opportunities to assess their quality and feasibility.
Beyond traditional technical services for development, we also provided reports for developing projects in new countries—describing geographical, regulatory, and economic context. So far, our service contributions have been mainly in the solar photovoltaic sector, with some mixture of wind and hydro.
