Creating spaces where community comes together

Building a community that fosters a true sense of belonging can be satisfying for everyone involved. The Banks Whitby Development project is one, providing families with safe and sustainable homes for now and into the future. We’ve worked on the project for over 10 years, in partnership with Todd Property Whitby Developments and Capella, from the early design phases to an on-going role in service delivery to providing quality control and engineering construction monitoring.

Our engineering services included stormwater modeling, bulk earthworks design, infrastructure, and utility services design. We also supplied detailed design of bulk water main re-alignments, where our team engaged in a wide range of multi-disciplined engineering services for various project stages—from surveying and landscape architecture through to multi-disciplined engineering design and documentation. Assisting in the approval process of the comprehensive development plan for the entire project, we worked closely with the community and encouraged public consultation to incorporate into the design. One idea? A central spine linkage along the majority of Duck Creek stream restorative works, to create a native riparian habitat and passive recreation facilities.

We’ll continue to provide services to support The Banks Whitby, a thriving, growing, sustainable community.
