300 Main - Design, Branding, and Sustainability Consulting

Located in the heart of San Antonio, 300 Main offers 350 units of elevated living across 32 floors and two interlocking towers. We provided architecture, interior design, branding, and sustainability consulting services to bring this building to life.

Our design blends history with modern urban living, honoring the iconic Milam Building while embracing the energy of downtown San Antonio. The use of masonry on the exterior complements the city’s architectural character, reinforcing a sense of place, connection, and preservation. Public spaces feature eye-catching commissioned artworks by local artists Oscar Alvarado and Lionel Sosa. These installations serve as bold focal points, deeply rooted in San Antonio’s culture and identity, dynamically bridging past and present.

We also prioritized people over cars, creating an inviting pedestrian experience on the ground level with inviting seating, gathering spaces, and a beautifully designed plaza that fosters interaction. The building offers unmatched accessibility, boasting a Walk Score of 90 (“Walker’s Paradise”) and a Transit Score of 85 (“Excellent”), with a city bus stop on-site. Sustainable mobility was a priority resulting in ample exterior bike racks, a Swell Cycle bikeshare station, and 56 secure bike parking spaces for residents.

Aligned with LEED standards, the building incorporates materials with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and ingredient transparency, meeting materials and resources credit requirements. This thoughtful selection of materials promotes a healthier, more sustainable built environment.

To further reduce environmental impact, we conducted a LEED-compliant Whole-Building Lifecycle Assessment (WBLCA) to evaluate structural and cladding elements—benchmarking global warming potential and embodied carbon performance. These insights further guided our choice of materials, reducing the project’s overall carbon footprint.

The result is a seamless blend of heritage and innovation—a living environment that honors the past while embracing the future of downtown San Antonio.
