Amtrak On-Call General Engineering Services

As part of this contract, we conducted track inspections for 30+ interlocking control points on the Amtrak Northeast corridor, specifically on the New York and Mid Atlantic divisions. Our railroad professionals inspected the components of railroad turnouts and roadbeds, which are essential for safety.

Other services included in this contract are schematic design and design development narratives; construction management; scope of work development; independent design reviews, checks and audits; constructability reviews and value engineering; feasibility studies, including potential alignments for new or upgraded high speed rail corridors; and environmental assessments.

We may also provide scheduling and claims analysis; track design and modification; structures design; survey and mapping; planning studies; simulations and modeling, as well as signal and communication systems engineering; right-of-way drainage improvements; and special reporting for state agencies.
