Baton Rouge Electric Vehicle (EV) Strategic Plan

The City-Parish of Baton Rouge partnered with us to develop a strategic plan aimed at preparing local government leaders for increased adoption of electric vehicles (EVs).

As part of the strategic planning process, we conducted a thorough analysis of existing policies, plans, and regulations. We engaged with key parties to gather insights and feedback to craft a plan was both practical and aligned with the community's needs. A critical component of this project involved creating strategies to support effective coordination between state-level government and regional and local entities. Additionally, we prepared a near-term action plan to guide the City-Parish toward achieving their EV adoption targets.

We also utilized our proprietary ZEVDecide™ tool to project future EV demand, map utility infrastructure, and analyze demographics. This analysis helped identify the optimal sites for EV charging stations, so the infrastructure would be both efficient and accessible.

This comprehensive plan will help the City-Parish meet their ambitious EV adoption goals and position themselves as a leader in sustainable transportation.
