Beijing Wangfujing Renaissance Marriott Hotel

The Renaissance Wangfujing Beijing Hotel is centered around China’s unique history—going back centuries. From the ancient Emperors to the familial dynasties that ruled through the early 1900’s, the Renaissance was created so that hotel guests could experience China’s storied history and rich culture while enjoying the comfort and amenities expected of the Marriott brand.

The hotel is situated on Wangfujing Street and offers spectacular views of the magnificent Forbidden City and Beijing’s modernized metropolis. When the decision was made to revitalize the property, we embraced the challenge of designing the 474,000-square-foot hotel to both honor China’s rich past and celebrate its flourishing future.

Our team was hired to handle extensive interior renovations that included the hotel lobby, restaurant, ballroom, pool, spa, and 320 guest rooms. The relaxed and sophisticated design features rich wood finishes that include stunning floor to ceiling bookcases, dynamic lighting, and a vibrant color palette.  The hotel reflects the philosophy of the Renaissance brand: exploration and discovery.
