Setting new impressive work standards for a 650,000 SF headquarters
We worked in tandem with Booz & Company to set new work standards for their 650,000-square-foot headquarters in New York City. In a collaborative effort, we provided the management consulting firm with a global workplace strategy titled 'Workplace of the Future' (WOTF). The strategy forms a decision matrix to set design standards in each region of the globe, using a governance process to guide the management of facilities. We also helped Booz & Co implement this office strategy in Atlanta, Houston, and DC.
Our team maximized the capacity of office space by installing unassigned workstations. Hoteling stations can be found along the perimeter of the office while shared offices and assigned support stations make up the interior space. We included lounge areas and soundproof phone booths, as well as a multi-purpose café that is suitable for large presentations or events.
An open environment with multiple options for workspaces, the new Booz & Co office integrates WOTF guidelines and celebrates the unique characteristics of the building. Receiving an Award of Excellence from NAIOP in 2013, the Booz & Co team can now enjoy a full range of amenities, including an innovative conference center, team room, and breakthrough work standards.
