Helping the Boston Children’s Hospital rezone and permit a proposed new facility
Stantec's Project Management team was engaged by Boston Children's Hospital early in project creation to consultant the real estate group with acquisition, permitting, and redevelopment of two parcels adjacent to Brookline Village. The properties included an existing medical office building and parking garage at One Brookline Place, and a 2-story retail building at Two-Four Brookline Place.
Redevelopment plans for the site include construction of an 8-story 180,000 SF medical office building at Two Brookline Place, a 50,000 SF addition and partial renovation of the existing One Brookline Place Building, and replacement of the parking garage.
Stantec is continuing to provide owner's representative project management, permitting, and real estate advisory services throughout design and construction.
Construction is currently in progress with completion anticipated by 2020. Total project costs, including land acqusition costs is $200 Million.
