Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building

Butler County Community College (BC3) wanted to create a new facility for their nursing and allied health students—offering advanced equipment and resources in a realistic healthcare setting. They reached out to us to provide capacity analysis, program development, design, and construction administration services for their new Butler County Community College's Victor K. Phillips Nursing and Allied Health Building.

Our design for the Allied Health Building is not only intended to be a modern facility with real-world simulation environments, but it serves as the backbone of the campus—the building is a striking feature upon first entering campus. Focusing on real-world experience and working with local industry healthcare partners, we balanced specialized and flexible spaces with the goal of bringing the community together around issues of human health and well-being.

The building helped reposition an area of campus in a manner that visually showcases BC3’s commitment to health sciences and serving the community. The College is using this project to showcase their nursing program and pave the way for future developments that emphasize the uniqueness of BC3 and its setting.
