Cele Middle School

The world is rapidly changing, and today’s students are changing with it. The workplaces are global, requiring constant collaboration and creative teaming. The design of this school represents a new beginning for Pflugerville, by providing a learning environment that is supported through a progressive hands-on curriculum. Something that prepares students for today’s world.

Our architectural design promotes collaboration by providing spaces that team different core classes. Classrooms won’t be isolated by subject. The core curriculums are clustered together within a 125-student community to encourage an integrated curriculum. This closely models real-world collaborative problem solving.

A learning environment should be a living example of stewardship. Cele Middle School will embody this through sustainable practices. Practices that will become teaching tools for the students and community. These features include solar orientation, an eco-pond, a green roof, rain water collection, and a compact building footprint.
