Global Biopharmaceutical Research Campus Phase III

Our client, a global biopharmaceutical company, called upon us to help increase their research space. This new facility, adjacent to their older building, cements a campus in the heart of Silicon Valley. There was one problem: the building wasn’t constructed for biotechnology operations, so our multidisciplinary team had to create not just the spaces, but also the systems, to support this vital research. The result is a stunning facility that provides a home for discovery research, cell biology, and blood laboratories.

The building’s design features vibrant and inviting social areas, and light-filled workspaces that combine both open-plan and traditional offices. We worked with our client to reimagine their design guidelines and move toward a more efficient, open office that featured a sophisticated, natural palate that reflected a California aesthetic.

Our science and technology experts are making sure that vital research has a home and a future. In fact, our client was so pleased with the result that they’ve engaged us to work on the campus’ third building, which we’re currently transforming to support their research goals, and help implement a new, more collaborative workplace.
