Our challenge? To develop a national training headquarters that was the successful nexus of brand, culture, wellness, and optimal performance.
The solution? A concept built around cloud-based technology. Our design team developed an architecture within the Confidential Training Center composed of sweeping gestures that are ethereal and organic in nature. Prioritizing the authenticity of user experience across the entirety of the spaces, meticulous yet delicate attention to detail and quality created a sense of intent, harmony, and a bold complement to the existing masonry. Bespoke yet cost-conscious detailing identifies and demarcates functional areas while helping to gently guide users through the space around the soft and comfortable architectural forms.
The project, located in the heart of Chicago’s rapidly growing West Loop neighborhood, bolsters commerce in the area with a constant influx of people. The Center serves as an onboarding environment for new employees, a continuing education space for current employees, and uses its dynamic learning environments to provide users the tools and knowledge to function at the highest level. In addition, its highly visible ground floor presence through floor-to-ceiling windows allows the design to be a visual anchor that strengthens the company's already strong brand presence as one that continues to invest in the City of Chicago.
