A refined yet accessible design for a venture capital firm

Data Collective DCVC

Data Collective (DCVC) is a venture capital fund that backs entrepreneurs applying deep tech to transform giant industries. When they were looking to create a sophisticated and modern look for their new office space in San Francisco’s South Park neighborhood, our team was there to help.

For this project, our we envisioned a design that was refined but also accessible—something that would appeal to young startups as well as multi-billion-dollar investors. The office features frameless glass that brings in natural light and echoes DCVC’s ethos of transparency, a 360-degree central lounge multi-tasks as waiting, work, and event space, and a series of botanical blueprints by Makoto Murayama. The space was designed and documented in less than five weeks.

DCVC now has a beautiful, comfortable office where staff can thrive and clients feel welcomed.
