Performing a variety of environmental services to enhance over 500 feet of shoreline

Fox River Dock Company, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, has owned and occupied their property since approximately 1987. The 46-acre property is located on approximately 525 feet of shoreline on the Fox River and consists primarily of outdoor storage piles of road salt and coal products, but also occasionally has pig iron, gypsum, fuel pellets, sodium bicarbonate, and canola pellets. All products are delivered by ship or rail and transported locally by truck. A boat slip, which is approximately 1,600 feet long, enters from the river and effectively is the north border of the Property. Topography at the Property is relatively flat, with elevations ranging from 581 to 587 feet above sea level.

Due to the nature of materials and proximity to the River, Stantec has been retained over the years to perform a variety of environmental services. We've prepared a Wisconsin Air Pollution Control Operating Permit, Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan, and Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure Plan. Other services include interpretation and recommendations pertaining to solid and hazardous waste regulations, stormwater treatment system engineering design, and development of on-site and off-site remedial action assistance.
