GoMentum Station provides a unique and varied terrain and infrastructure for testing the latest developments in transportation technology. Collaborating with dozens of private and public sector entities—from auto makers to technology and communications firms—we facilitated the testing of a range of advanced automated vehicle (AV) technologies. With more than 5,000 acres and 20 miles of paved roadway, this secure AV proving ground is a prime location for incubating the next generation of advanced transportation systems.
With a goal of creating a safer and more efficient transportation system, we worked closely with the owners and participants at GoMentum Station to manage the testing of automated trucks, self-driving shuttles for the first and last mile, and personal use connected and automated vehicles. These technologies will help transform the way people and goods are moved, creating jobs and economic opportunities while significantly reducing fuel consumption and emissions—directly benefiting our communities.
