On one side of the Gran Patio development in Mexico City is one of the richest neighborhoods in the city, on the other, one of the poorest. The idea for this mixed-use development is to bridge this gap through the creation of a vibrant urban destination. The development brings together a varied tenant mix including big box and specialty retail stores, restaurants, office space, a casino, theater, gym, and arts school. The building’s rooftop park provides a place for people to meet in a city that lacks safe open spaces.

We provided retail planning, architectural design, landscape character and specialty features design, interior design, environmental graphics and wayfinding services. The design strategy allows our client to easily and affordably refresh the center through a flexible and profitable sponsorship, banner and media screen program.

Gran Patio is visionary development through its desire to attract a full demographic spectrum, including high income, student, local workforce, tourist, and low income patrons.
